2005-09-22 [Lerune]: Oh, and in my opinion, green and red. ;o) But, that is what I carry, so I am going to say it is cooler. =oP On KotoR, I always had my Juhani wield one purple and one blue, though, and it looked very cool. But, with some characters, the color of the blade means more than just a favorite color (me for example). So, I think you should wield what you like.

2005-09-22 [Calico Tiger]: I agree. Purple and blue are one of my favorite combos. Purple and veridian also look great together. Of course, purple and yellow look good as well when they're flashing around as you fight in the game :D

2005-09-22 [Lordterrex]: yes... oo.... *thinks of all the pretty colors*... green is meant to be the true color of the force, i havent done enough research to tell you that for positive.. but thats what ive gathered.... red is the true color of the dark side, well, red sabers. sith make there sabers tottaly different from jedis though, they dont use crystals that are found in caves and stuff, they make there crystals in balstign furnaces, and manipulate the way the crystals work using there hatred and malice... and there pure agression makes it red.. thats what i thin atleast. green and blue and pruple are much more passive colors, witch suggest that jedis shoudl remain passive, as much as possible.

2005-09-22 [Lordterrex]: hmm.. i guess that would be a personal choice... from my experience with orange i can say that its a very open and freidnly color.. but at the same time, that depends ont he intensity of the orange, if its a lighter orange, it can reflect friendlyness, but a brighter darker orange, closer to red, that is a much more hostile less friendly version.. orange is just muddled version of either red or yellow.. depends on witch color it has more in it.. it also suggest some dupilicity that might be had by the weilder... mayeb he/she is unsure of where they stand?

2005-09-22 [runnybabbit]: I wonder what my color of lightsaber--or lightsabers--if I become a Jedi, will be. I would think, to fit Istari's personality, there would probably be two--of course, two lightsabers are very common here in the Jedi Council, but I've always been fascinated about training with two--the colors would probably be orange and purple, or green and pink. I'm not sure why...those aren't my favorite colors, but when I'm 'in the zone' of my character, I always feel most attracted to those two pairs.

2005-09-23 [Foxspike]: When u played KOTOR who were the people u guys took with u most of the time. my bro always had 2 jedi so it would be Bastila and Jolee. or the totally we are good guys combo Bastila and Carth. me its the Manderloin and Hk all the way, laugh a plenty with that pair at your side, HK talking to a jawa asks if he can kill it in the off chance it said something bad. i take good guy Reven and do lots of bad things i help the good people and give all the bad guys a fair amount of lip. next time i might take either Carth and the Manderloin, or Canderous and Bastila. i just love the banta Canderous gives every one for being all good.

2005-09-26 [Foxspike]: lol well i have this to say ok KOTOR it brought back star wars from being games of average quailty to block buster sucsees which lucas arts has kept up with the secound game and battle front, Commando is brilliant as well. and with battle front 2 out soon its looking to be quite the pick me up for the star wars games. the rouge games are good to they just werent the massive ground breaking games like KOTOR but i should slowly sit back down and be quiet getting some odd looks now but u need to get KOTOR its the best star wars game yoet oh and i forgot that revenge of the sith was amzing the jedi fighting battles are great, i think Windo is the toughst of the bosses.

2005-10-08 [Skydancer]: Well, as one of the oldest and longest time fans of the Star Wars universe... it seemed rather natural. After all, I attended the opening night for the first film in August of 1973. And at one time, I owned a half scale replica of R2D2. And I have made more than a few working lightsaber hilts in my studio back in the day.

We used parts from military flash lights for the emitter though, we did not have LEDs and such to use then.

2005-10-09 [Skydancer]: well, there is really only one person in the universe that really would have an answer, and it is quite possible he never bothered to flesh out Yoda's past simply because he was not a central character to the story but rather only a transformative support element to the main characters.

2005-10-09 [Lordterrex]: so in other words... i need to be creative with his past... so heres how it goes guys... basicaly. yoda was on the jedi council byt he age of 700, by then he was already suffering from EXTREME althsiemers disease.. and he tottaly forgot what his race was, or what planet he was from.. luckily though, beign oin the jedi council, they gave him special pink pills that helped him remember, and keep his short term memory.....

(Yoda, Yaddle, and Vandar Tokare are sometimes erroneously referred to as Whills, despite Lucas' insistence that they are not). In fact, very little is reported of Yoda's life. Not that it really matters too much. :) Amazing what you can find with a deep web search.

It is just that being an author myself, I have a similar reaction to someone taking an author's creation and changing it to suit themselves that is much similar to someone taking a piece of visual artwork and redoing it without consideration of the original artist. Just my own viewpoints and life journey.
